Hi! My name is Monica Recchilongo. I was born in Vitória, Brazil and moved to Philadelphia at the age of 16 to study English. I attended Immaculata College and graduated in 1989. I have two beautiful children, a fantastic son-in-law and three gorgeous granddaughters and one on the way. I was a stay at home Mom with my children, which gave me the ability to do some great volunteer work at my children’s school, from being school nurse to substitute teacher and treasure of the PTA and then president of the annual fund raiser for the school.
I owned and operated a before and after school day care at St. Basil the Great. I also was on the Board for a homeless mother’s and children’s shelter in Phoenixville, PA, and helped with volunteering with the nuns and other staff.
In 1997 I started my professional career in the medical field in sales for an ambulance company where I marketed to all major Philadelphia hospitals to obtain contracts with them. Then I moved on to Home Health where I worked closely with the senior population in the community. I have been working with seniors ever since and I love being able to help others and make a difference in their lives.
In 2005 I moved to Florida and opened a private duty home care agency, again, giving me the ability to work closely with seniors. I’ve continued to do volunteer work in the community, becoming Eucharistic Minister and taking communion to those home bound.
After working in the health care field for some 20 years, I am now embarking on a new career in the financial world with Life Plan Retirement Partners LLC. I am excited to continue working to serve those in need and assist with senior related questions as they arise.
I love what I do!
